Burj Dubai is the tallest man-made structure ever built, at 818 m (2,684 ft). It will be completed in January 2010. The video is shot by one of the construction workers.

 Turkiye'de yeni bir tarih kitabi yaziliyor. Yeni cunku bu kez "resmi tarih"degil.

Ama hazmetmesi zor. 70 senedir insanlara dayatilan resmi tarihe inanan bir cok jenerasyonda hazimsizlik yapacak turden... Yillarca orada burada boluk porcuk okudugum seyler bir arada sunulabiliyor artik, bu da guzel birsey. Bu yazilarin en guzel tarafi tarihi tespitlerin bir arada olmasi - yoksa bu anilar, bu notlar her yerdeler okuyan adam icin - tabii Lise 1 Tarih Kitabi haric.

Sizlere kolay gelsin demek istiyorum. Zira disaridan oturup bir tarafimi kasiyarak bakip da yillarin kavglarinin, munakasalarinin isiginda benim icin hem okumasi zevkli, hem de tartismasi keyifli. Ama orada, icinde olan sizlersiniz, sizin isiniz hic kolay degil. Bir cogunuz "aman bana ne" diyecek pek cogumuzun dedigi gibi - hatta benim yaptigim gibi isi en ileri uca goturerek "alin kafaniza calin, ben gidiyorum" demek de mumkun. Ama okumamak, ogrenmemek icin bahane degil bunlar.

Bana paylasmak duser ancak.

I've been coding this site for myself since 2004. It will never be complete. I have accepted this. I'll always take one look at any part of it and wonder why I did what I did the way I did it and not this other way that could've been, not necessarily better, but, what if... Or some new framework will be released and I will be tempted to use the "new" one instead of the old one. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. There is much truth to these words.
