Have you tried to render a PDF document in your program?
I have. And failed miserably. I can create, edit, mush-up, destroy PDFs easily. But when it comes to rendering a small, darn pdf into a form window, or just get a small thumbnail, you will lose yourself in the depths of the Internet and not come up with any viable solution. There are no sourceforge project, nothing reverse-engineered. All you have is Adobe Acrobat's stupid control, which will whine all the way to holy hell because your application is not Single Apartment Threaded and crash and leave Acrobat hanging in the processes.
And out of somewhere, and mind you - you will not remember how you found this site for you will have read a zillion blog posts, browsed through endless duplicates of the same information scraped, stolen and resubmitted to various "solution" sites and lost your faith in "endless information" - you will find this awesome tool from WebSuperGoo guys. The ABCPdf. It's descended from the heavens to save your day. Simple, intuitive, delivers what it promises. Costs so little - to nothing.
Well, I thank you WebSuperGoo. For putting an end to endless hours of browsing and reading through documentation.
Oh and by the way, it's not just ABCPdf, these guys have a crazy good arsenal of tools, all working perfectly under the great umbrella of .Net. Well done guys, well done indeed.
