In Chicago, Sears Towers - I refuse to call it with any other name - installed a pair of glass balconies on 103rd floor. The altitude is 1,353 feet. The glass is thick enough to support 5 tons. Still, jumping up and down is not recommended practice. The view is breathtaking, literally. I personally know a couple of people who will experience a shortness of breath just by looking at the pictures let alone set foot on the balcony; and would probably experience a shortness of blood supply to their brains and pass out on the steps whence pushed towards one of these balconies.
Look at them kids, lying on the transparent floor, enjoying the height. They have no idea that in their minds they can fall, imagine themselves passing by those windows on 100 floors, think about their lives for 10 seconds, and hurt themselves pretty bad - imaginatively. Beh. Kids...
